I do beg your pardon? Never having to say you're what? Sor… Suh… er… Sir… Surrey? I'm afraid that word's just not in our dictionary.
The one person I've ever known personally from Wales it wasn't in HIS vocabulary either. 😛

That's cos he was Welsh and they say 'mae'n ddrwg gen i' instead. 😉
Although I have noticed many men don't have the word (or any words expressing the sentiment) 'sorry' in their vocabulary at all. I suspect it's a gender thing.
I'm the exact opposite, actually.
I have literally caught myself saying “I'm sorry for apologizing” more than once in my lifetime. I think it's that I take too much weight for things I can't control sometimes.
