We all like films for different reasons, and when I get home I'll go into more detail as to why I enjoyed watching Troy last night, but in the meantime, here are five of the most compelling reasons to go and see it:
1. Eric Bana in a skirt
2. Brad Pitt in a skirt
3. Orlando Bloom in a skirt
4. Sean Bean in a skirt
5. Thousands upon thousands of Greeks and Trojans. All in skirts.
I do think that we should seriously re-examine Trojan fashion with a view to reinstating the short leather skirt as normal daywear for men. Actually, the longer sarong-style skirts were pretty cool too. Beats a suit and tie any day of the week.
