I'm delighted to say that I am going to be at the NorthernVoice blogging conference in Vancouver on 19 Feb. I'll be sitting on the panel Promoting Your Blog and Building Traffic with Jeremy Wright, Derek K. Miller and Darren Barefoot (moderator). There are going to be some really interesting people speaking at NorthernVoice, including Stowe Boyd (he gets everywhere, doesn't he?) and Robert Scoble, so I am looking forward to some good conversations.
This'll be my first trip to Canada, although I'm a little disappointed that Vancouver and Toronto aren't slightly closer together as it'd be fun to go visit AccordionGuy et al. Still, anything could happen by February so you never know, and at least I will finally get to hang out with Richard Eriksson.

Sorry about the Vancouver/Toronto thing. Our country is really big. When I moved to Ireland, one of the things that blew me away is how short the distances were. I mean, I could be in Prague in under three hours! In Canada, three hours might get you to Winnipeg. With a good tail wind. DB.
3 hours'll get you to Winnipeg from Kenora, but that's about it. Yeah, being in the UK I loved the distances. 1 hour to London, 8 to Scotland? Rocking. It's 24 hours of driving from here to Vancouver.
But, yeah, see you there! — Jeremy
Indeed, Canada is vast but if I have a bit of spare cash/time I might be able to explore a little. Thing is, I want to go down to CA as well, if that's where the boyf is by then, so it could turn into a rather long trip if I add Toronto into the mix too. Ah, we'll see.
What I could really do with is a couple of months off to just go see everyone I want to go see. Aaaah, one day.
