Constantine is XFM's Film of the Month, so I'm not the only one who thought it wasn't completely pants. Only a matter of days now before I get to go see it again and see how it stands up to a second viewing.

Strange Attractor
As someone who's never read the comic, I saw it on Sunday and enjoyed it. I can see why some might dismiss it as average (I like the genre, so I'm likely to rate it more highly), but it's certainly not rubbish.

I'd say that it was mostly pants. I did dig their portrayal of Satan as aging lounge lizard. DB.
I adored it. The visual style was perfect – over-the-top noir, which just occasionally burst its own bubble. The script was a bit cliched, but who cares?
Also, it passed muster with the trio of hellblazer fans I watched it with. Really, the people complaining about hair colour and brand of cigarettes are just being ridiculous.
Interesting that the Hellblazer fanboys liked it. Glad too, actually, because I thought it was pretty well done. And yes, i loved the style too. There's the scene in the bathroom which was just beautifully comic-book. Really wonderful noir look.
Can't wait to see it again.
