Mum and I ordered some twenty quid's worth of Muji pens online yesterday afternoon. Last night I got an email saying that my order was ready to be despatched. And this morning – contrary to all assumptions about Christmas post being slow – it arrived in a hand-written jiffy bag complete with little sticker stars. Aw!! I love Muji!
Right… I'm gonna go and write my Christmas cards now with my nice new Muji pens.
(And yes, I know I'm slack. All the abroad ones won't get there til the New Year, probably, but at the end of the day I'm crap with Christmas cards and everyone who knows me should know that by now. At least this year they'll arrive before the end of January.)
Yeah, I got mine in April last year if memory serves. If it arrives in January this time round, I'll be dead impressed! 😉

Er… *hangs head in shame* Yes, it was April. Your pressie might arrive in December this year though, as I'm going to go and post it this afternoon. Honest, guv. Well, half of it. The rest is too heavy to post, so I'll have to give it to you the next time I see you.
I have finally done my Christmas cards, though, and they're going out today too.
I'm just so crap at this sort of thing.
Don't worry, love. Be comforted by the thought that you'll never reach the depths of pathetickness my mother does. She sent my husband's birthday present in March last year. His birthday was the previous August…

Well, I guess I'm not really that bad then. 😉
Although I'm better with Christmas cards than with letters. I've been known to write letters, put them in envelopes, address them up, but never quite manage to send them…
Once, when packing my belongings up prior to moving house, I found a letter that I'd never sent that even had a stamp on – it was at least a year old. Oops.
Well, I'm sure it's the thought that counts 😉
