Got up to London last night, walked through Acton in the pissing rain but felt happy nonetheless. Back in the land of the living.
Almost the first thing I did was look at Svet's computer for ethernet, and was delighted to find it – no need to install a network card then. Was slightly less delighted to discover that just plugging my PowerBook in wasn't quite enough, damnit. Fixed it this morning with Simon's help, and now I'm ready to rock and roll. Or, rather, pop out for lunch.
So, I'm here. I'm online. I'm happy. I bet the next four weeks are the fastest of the year. Hm. Wonder if Svet wants a lodger…
Priorities, priorities

Ahhh, sweet sweet London. Especially in the Autumn. I want to go down there! Feel the crisp warm air as I walk down Shaftesbury Avenue…
Aaah, I love the smell of carbon monoxide in the morning…
