And the nose thing isn't the worst one. The really ugly one is noticing that your breathing without thinking about it, so that after a minute or so you're thinking: 'All right!, I want to go back to breathing without thinking about it, please!'

the nose thing used to get me when i was younger, but then i had to wear glasses and the rims bugged me more than my nose. now i wear contacts and i ignore my nose.

Funny, I hadn't noticed the rim of my glasses… until now. 😉
Actually, yes, I have sometimes caught site of my own nose and then been unable to not notice its presence on my face. And I've had the same with the rim of my glasses and breathing. The other one is when my nails get a bit long and I notice them tapping on the desk… and then I can't help but keep tapping them even though the nose drives me nuts.
