I don't know how it works, but having 40 tiny needles stuck in my back has made a huge difference. I can move around now without wincing. I can sit and stand and bend forward and I don't have to worry that I'm doing some sort of horrendous damage to my back.
I can also now empathise with hedgehogs on a heretofore unrealised level.
40 needles

Suw, if you are ever interested in understanding how those 40 needles work their magic, I can recommend two books:
The Web that has no Weaver, by Ted Kaptchuk
Healing with Whole Foods, by Paul Pitchford–don't let the title fool you. It's a great primer on traditional chinese medicine.
Rats32 – thanks! I am rather curious so I'll have to put those on my Amazon wishlist. 🙂
