Well, the voice is staging a comeback, so it seems that I’m not going to break my own personal record of days spent croaking. At the moment it’s all husky – quite sexy really. Oh, if only I had someone here whose knees I could melt with this velvet voice of mine (whilst it lasts).
Instead, I have a sneaking suspicion that I destroyed any chance I had of wooing a certain someone last night when I coughed at them for twenty minutes solid. Oops. Sorry R.
Meantime, I learnt a new word today. Hyperfocus.
Hyperfocus is my friend. Hyperfocus is concentrating on something interesting to the exclusion of all else, even essential tasks, because everything else is just too dull and boring to bother with. I am an expert hyperfocuser. I love hyperfocus. And I’m going to go off and do some of it right now…
