Looks like I won't be able to blog from the studio, because the keyboard will be too noisy and all you'll hear is the rattle of keys. I never did understand why they made keyboards so rattly in the first place – I don't need to hear when I've hit a key because, oh surprise surprise, I can see it on the screen.
Anyway, please pop over to Saira's blog and leave comments there if you're listening to the show, and someone will possibly read them out at the end.
*takes deep breath*
Not nervous. Really. Honestly. Not. At all.
*gulp*

You were great.
Maybe I'm too close to blogging now, but I found the whole thing to have a weird slightly naive sense of discovery about it. I suppose that again underscores how blogging hasn't really quite broken through to the mainstream in the UK yet.
At any rate, great stuff. If you were nervous, I couldn't tell at all.
best,
k
Aw, thanks Kev. 😀
I was nervous, more because I've never done live radio before, so wasn't entirely sure what would happen. But it turns out that all you do is sit down, put headphones on, and then just talk when it's your turn to talk. Actually quite easy.
I do agree that it was very much an 'oh! look! blogging!' thing – you're right when you say that it's not as mainstream as we sometimes think it is. but i like converting people to blogging, so hopefully we'll have managed to spur a few more people to try it out. 🙂
