It’s been a ridiculously windy couple of days, with the house making strange groaning and banging noises and, occasionally, shuddering in the strong gusts. I tried to capture some of Mewton’s alarm, but instead I appear to have created some form of wild-eyed Frankenkitteh. Possibly two. This sketching malarky is hard.

A friend of mine is making this amazing owl blanket and shared with me the video explaining the shell and V pattern, so I thought I’d give it a go. It’s pretty easy and produces a very pretty fabric that would be great for a blanket or a shawl in a lacier yarn.
