Hi Suw, just to say that I’ve just finished reading Argleton on my phone’s Kindle app, thanks to a link on boingboing, and I loved it. As someone who is very fond of the writings of William Gibson and Charles Stross, particularly William G’s, for the way he blends the tech into great storytelling your story really struck a chord with me. And it described an England that was very familiar to me, some parts very well indeed. Thank you for sharing it and making it available as a free download. I’ve got your blog bookmarked on my homepage now, so I can keep up to date with future writings.
Thanks again, and all the best,
Adrian

Hi Suw,
What a great story! I also loved the way the geek was a woman & that it was the man who couldn’t drive. A very pleasant departure from the usual cliche.
I was concerned that the ending would be a disappointment but no, it was just perfect. Looking forward to your next…
