I just noticed that the emails from Blogware informing me that a comment has gone into moderation have been caught in Gmail's spam trap, and that there is no easy way for me to look at any comment beyond the 50th most recent. I fear this means that some of you may have left comments that never appeared, and which never will appear now because they are lost somewhere in the depths of Blogware's admin system.
I'm sorry about that.
I will be moving off Blogware onto an installation of WordPress at some point, just as soon as I can get round to it.

Oh, I thought you were just ignoring me.
Then again, considering the tone of most of my comments, you might be.
Hee hee. I'd never ignore you, dear. I'd be missing out on some great entertainment if i did. 😉
Being the opinion leader that you are, I have been influenced by your opinion to believe that Blogware was the best there is, in fact have suggested it to several others though I've not used it ever myself.
So fill me in — what is the advantage of Wordpress??
Blogware was, at the time that I moved to it, one of the best blogging platforms available, but sadly it hasn't moved with the times. In fact, it hadn't addressed any of its problems over the last three years, nor has it added any new functionality. But there are reasons I want to move other than functionality, that I don't really want to go in to here.
Wordpress is my choice because it's open source, free, very well put together with some great spam protection, and some interesting widgets. Generally, it's a very nice platform, and one I'm familiar with. It's pretty much what I recommend to people now.
