Chokers
Short necklaces were all the rage back in the Renaissance, as demonstrated by this portrait by Agnolo Bronzino of Bia de’ Medici, illigitimate daughter of Cosimo I de’ Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany. She was born in 1536 and died on 1 March 1542, aged just six. This portrait was commmissioned postumously and painted in 1542.
This Portrait of a Young Woman was painted by Tiziano Vecellio Titian during the 1530s.
I currently have four choker styles that are loosely based on Renaissance styles:
Plain choker
Adele
Bridgette
Francine
I can easily make simple strings of pearls of any size or colour, to your specifications.
