Lack of tracking data

by Suw on May 17, 2005

Everyone else who orders from Apple seems to be able to track their shipment's precise whereabouts, but the tracking page for my order resolutely refuses to show me any information about 'activity', location, or date/time whatsoever. I've been to the TNT websites, and tried putting in all of the various shipping and tracking codes Apple have given me, but to no avail. According to TNT, my order doesn't exist.
Today, I got an invoice from Apple in Dublin, so I wonder how valid an assumption it might be to say that perhaps my stuff might arrive today? And at what point can impatience legitimately give way to worrying that the whole lot's gone missing? (Note: Right now, we are definitely in the Impatience Zone. No doubt about that.)
Bottom line: I want my iBook and I want it now!

When I bought my apple laptop, the tracking didn't work either. It's a known issue, googling for it brings up many hits with other Brits complaining of this issue.

Ah, thanks Daniel. I feel less paranoid now. 🙂
