My filesharing story: went into an independent record shop, had a bit of a browse, picked out a handful of CDs, took them to the desk and asked if they had the new Animal Collective CD. 

&quot;No mate, don&#039;t think it&#039;s out yet.&quot;

&quot;Oh,&quot; I replied, &quot;I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, thought it must be released by now.&quot;

The shopkeeper flips out, telling me that it&#039;s people like me who are killing music, and specifically small record shops.

Then he takes my £60 for the CDs he *did* have in stock, all of which I&#039;d heard having downloaded them first.</description>
