Worse thing I ever did, leave Orange 12 months ago.
Was going to plump for a P990 but recently heard bad things about it.
I think Symbian S60 3rd ed. is the way to go, but the E61 doesn't have a camera. I have heard rumours to the contrary for next spring, however, so I may wait still further.
T-Mobile appears to offer an "unlimited" data package for £7.50pm - http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?menuid=pp_webnwalk_what - and I'm trying to believe that's true. They're 3G, aren't they?

Orange offer a special plan called "Orange Value Promise" -
Quote from Orange website:
"But if you feel that a tariff from another network would suit your needs better let us know and we'll match it, right down to the way it's charged.
This offer applies to non-promotional tariffs, available to pay monthly customers from O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile retail stores only."
If Orange have the phone you are after - you should be able to get the orange equivalent of t-mobile "Web 'n Walk plan" using/via the "Orange Value Promise".
hope this helps.

This is about standard for Deutsche Telekomm, who own T-Mobile.
They have the most appalling customer service you will find anywhere, due to their years of monopoly in Germany. Until quite recently, Telekomm had the monopoly on DSL in Germany, and the service was terrible. Even if you went through another company, you still ended up having to phone Telekomm, as they owned the "last mile". They were then discovered to be giving priority to their own customers and deliberately degrading the service for people who went through another ISP.
Fortunately, local-loop unbundling is now a reality.
